Once you become an official Ironhack student, you will be given 60 hours of online learning material focusing on command line, Git, Python, MySQL, and statistical analysis. To get you ready for learning , this essential prework will familiarize you with the basics of programming and statistics necessary for the bootcamp. Although you will learn these topics remotely before you arrive at your chosen campus, you won’t be far away from the resources of the Ironhack community. Make use of our Slack channel to connect with your peers and get help from expert academic staff. At the end of your prework, you’ll be ready for the fast pace on campus!
Eldiias is a lead teacher of the data analytics bootcamp at Ironhack Paris. He holds a MSc degree in quantitative economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In recent years, he worked as a data-analytics expert on several projects, including “Improvement of Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition of Kyrgyz Republic” with M-Vector in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. He has lead workshops on data management, data visualization and web scraping. His research interests include computer vision and natural-language processing applications for public services, such as for crime prevention, medicine and the environment.Paris
Formerly a Data Scientist at Itau Unibanco, Andre has also a background in Aerospace Engineer and a master's degree at ITA. As a specialist in solving problems using advanced tools like machine learning, graphs and optimization, he has found in Data Science the perfect balance between theory and practice. As anyone who is passionate about learning, he is also someone who's passionate about teaching and seeks inspiration in professors like Richard Feynman and George PolyáSao Paulo
Guillem grew as a Data Scientist at Accenture Advanced Analytics. In 2018, decided to move from consultancy to teaching in code-academies. Passionate about literature, his dream is to build an AI that writes a novel.Barcelona
Pedro has a degree in theoretical physics and worked as a data scientist at BNP Paribas for over 3 years. He loves to teach and is currently the lead teacher of the Part Time Data course at Ironhack. Himanshu has a master’s in industrial engineering with a focus on data analysis. He has over four years of experience in tech and has worked on projects across a diverse spectrum of industries including education, healthcare, finance, information and technology, tourism, and manufacturing. He started his career as a web developer, then worked at some small companies and in the start-up scene in Barcelona.
