“Term”: a two (2) month period for the guarantee, as stated in Section 6.
2. Program purpose
The “Guaranteed Access to Internship Opportunities” Program (the “Program”) is a benefit offered by Ironhack as part of its Career Services in Spain. For the purposes of these Terms, the Program’s “guarantee” is limited to what is described in Section 6 (two interviews). Any commercial or marketing reference to “Guaranteed Access to Internship Opportunities” must not be interpreted as a guarantee of hiring or securing an internship placement.
3. Territory
The Program is offered exclusively in Spain. Access to the Program and the guarantee apply only to opportunities managed within that territory.
4. Eligibility
To participate in the Program, the Student must meet the eligibility requirements at all times. In particular, the Student must: (i) have completed and graduated from an eligible Ironhack program; (ii) be active in Career Services at Level 1 (Builder); and (iii) be within the Career Services access period, which is twelve (12) months from the graduation date, unless Ironhack states otherwise in writing. Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in suspension or loss of eligibility.
5. Level 1 (Builder) requirements and Student obligations
Participation in the Program is conditional on complying with the Level 1 (Builder) framework. Without prejudice to any other internal requirements, the student must, at a minimum: (a) complete the job-search plan with their Career Services Advisor; (b) have a CV and LinkedIn profile prepared in line with the Career Services process; (c) stay active on LinkedIn, including having 300 connections; and (d) maintain reasonable availability for selection processes during working hours (9:00 to 18:00 Spain time).
The student also commits to responding within reasonable timeframes to Program-related communications, and to informing Ironhack by email of any interviews obtained for verification and tracking purposes.
6. Guarantee: definition, scope, and term
6.1. Scope of the guarantee. Ironhack guarantees that, during the Term, the Eligible Student will obtain two (2) completed interviews with companies offering internship opportunities.
6.2. Start of the term. The Program term will be two (2) months and will start from the moment you enter Level 1 (after discussing your application to the Program with your Career Advisor).
7. Exclusions and limitations
The Program does not guarantee: (a) an internship placement or contract; (b) that the internship will be paid or include a stipend; (c) any specific company, sector, role, city, or work format (remote/hybrid/on-site); (d) progression to later hiring stages; or (e) final selection by a company. Hiring decisions remain solely with the company.
8. Operational process
Ironhack may share opportunities with eligible students and, where applicable, forward profiles to Partner companies. In many cases, Partner companies manage the selection process directly, meaning timelines and criteria depend on third parties. The Student acknowledges that Ironhack’s role is facilitation and coordination, not that of an employer or a placement agency.
9. Cancellations, no-shows, and rejections
If the Student cancels interviews without sufficient notice, does not attend, or rejects interviews without reasonable cause, Ironhack may consider this a breach of the Student’s obligations. This may result in loss of eligibility and/or the guarantee being considered satisfied or void, as applicable.
In particular, if the Student is a no-show without warning, they may lose the opportunity to remain in the Program. Exceptions will only be accepted for justified reasons such as an emergency, accident, or illness, communicated appropriately.
10. Conduct and accuracy of information
The Student agrees to behave professionally with companies and recruiters, including punctuality, respectful communication, and no “ghosting”. The Student also confirms the accuracy of the information provided (CV, experience, education). Inappropriate conduct with Partners (for example, disrespectful or unprofessional emails) may result in loss of eligibility for the Program. For more information, please refer to the quick guide for communicating with partners.
11. Privacy and data processing
To participate, the Student authorizes Ironhack to process and share the necessary data with Partner companies (for example, CV, LinkedIn, portfolio, and professional contact details) for the purpose of managing opportunities and interviews. This consent is understood as granted under the agreement the Student accepted when signing their contract with Ironhack.
12. Remedy if the guarantee is not met
If, while meeting the above requirements and obligations, the Student does not obtain two (2) completed interviews within the two (2) month Term, Ironhack will apply the Program remedy, which will consist of AI async course + extra one ones with their Career Advisor as a compensation.
13. Changes and validity
Ironhack may update these Terms for operational or legal reasons. To the extent reasonable, changes will apply prospectively and will not negatively affect students with an already activated Program, unless required by law or justified circumstances.
