9:00Start your day energized
Get yourself a coffee to kick-start your day. We’ll begin by reviewing and discussing yesterday’s exercises.
9:30Lecture block 1
Following the initial review, the first block of lectures will begin. Time to learn something new! During the project weeks, you will practice daily standups by talking about your project.
11:30Pair programming and project coding
Every week you will be briefed on a project that you will then develop in small groups. During these projects, you will focus on coding and applying the concepts you learned in the previous lectures.
Time for a well-earned break! Ironhack is centrally located, so you’ll always find something interesting and delicious to eat.
14:00Lecture block 2
During afternoon lectures, you will build upon what you’ve learned with even more skills and techniques.
We will ask you to find an existing app that you want to improve, and you will apply the concepts learned during the lectures to do so. Then you will present your conclusions – an essential skill when developing projects and sharing them with others.
When the day has ended, immerse yourself in meetups, networking sessions and workshops, or stick around with your peers to catch up on classwork.
18:30Daily lessons and standup
We will start off with a review of the previous day. This is a key part of the Kanban and Agile methodologies. Then the first block of lectures will begin: time to learn something new! Each lesson lasts approximately 50 minutes, and you will have a short break in between.
20:30Pair programming and project coding
Immerse yourself in this exercise or project with a classmate. Apply all of your newfound knowledge to the development of whatever might be thrown at you. Teachers and assistants will be on hand to help you every step of the way.
18:30Daily lessons and standup
After your daily standup, your second weekday will begin with two lectures. Each of these lasts about 50 minutes, and there will be a break in between them.
20:30Code kata exercise and project coding
Put your skills to the test on an individual project. This exercise will help you implement the theory you learned earlier. Teaching assistants will be available to guide you through the kata.
10:00Daily standup and lecture block 1
Saturday starts with your usual standup, followed by two 50-minute lectures with a break in between them.

Time to eat, take a break and recharge your batteries! Our campuses are centrally located, so you’ll have no trouble finding excellent and diverse food options or bringing your own from home.
