PRE-BOOTCAMP PREPARATION
Get Bootcamp-ready and hit the ground running with 50 hours of fundamental training in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, and GitHub. No matter your previous tech knowledge (or lack of it) this first week will make sure every Ironhacker is set up for success.
Full-time students will get 50 hours of training in a combination of self-paced and group activities, guided by an instructor in the week leading up to Bootcamp.
Part-time students will receive the same training, but entirely self-paced for maximum flexibility. You can get started as soon as you become an official student.

WEB DEVELOPMENT FUNDAMENTALS AND JAVASCRIPT MASTERY
In Module 1, we'll kickstart your journey into the world of web development and equip you with the foundational skills you need to become a proficient full-stack web developer.
Building a Strong Foundation
You'll dive into HTML and CSS to create web pages with style and structure. Get hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaboration. Explore the power of pair programming, a crucial skill in real-world development. Learn responsive web design and Flexbox to create responsive websites. Master the CSS Box Model and advanced CSS selectors for precise styling. Unleash your creativity by making your websites and applications interactive with JavaScript. Get comfortable with JavaScript functions, arrays, and objects. Learn advanced JavaScript concepts such as ES6 features, closures, and asynchronous JavaScript. Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in JavaScript to create well-structured and maintainable code.

Showcase your skills with a hands-on project, creating a classic game with a unique twist.

Module 2 is where you'll deepen your backend knowledge and seamlessly integrate React into your skill set.
Backend Development and React Integration
Dive into the intricacies of backend development. Create a server using NodeJS and ExpressJS. Persist data in your applications using MongoDB, a non-relational database. Leverage Mongoose for rigorous data modeling. Integrate React with the Backend to create Full-stack applications.
Collaborative Projects
Work in pairs, simulating real-world collaboration seen in tech companies. Utilize your newfound skills to create your first React web application.

MASTERING FRONTEND WITH REACT AND ADVANCED FULL-STACK DEVELOPMENT
In the third module, we'll elevate your frontend skills to mastery level and complete your journey to becoming a full-stack web developer.
Mastering Frontend with React
Dive deep into ReactJS, a powerful front-end framework used by tech giants. Embrace single-page applications (SPAs) and component-based development. By the end of the module, you'll be well-versed in technology utilized by the biggest tech companies worldwide. Learn to make HTTP requests from your client-side React application and integrate them with APIs.
Final Project
Work in teams, simulating real-world collaboration seen in tech companies. Develop a comprehensive full-stack web application as your final project using the MERN stack.
Culminating Your Journey
Showcase your skills with a grand finale: a full-stack application. Incorporate your backend knowledge with NodeJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB. Craft a seamless user experience with ReactJS on the front end. Master the art of deploying applications, demonstrating your MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) abilities.
By the end of this comprehensive bootcamp, you won't just have knowledge; you'll have practical experience and a portfolio of projects to showcase your abilities. You'll be ready to take on the role of a highly skilled junior or entry-level full-stack web developer, poised to excel in the dynamic world of web development.

BECOMING PROFICIENT IN TYPESCRIPT AND RELATIONAL DATABASES (For Full-Time Students Only)
Dive into the world of TypeScript, a powerful language that adds static typing and modern features to JavaScript, making it the go-to choice for building complex and robust React and Node.js applications.
In addition to becoming a TypeScript pro, you'll also learn about SQL, PostgreSQL, and Prisma, giving you the ability to work with relational databases on the backend – a valuable skill for well-rounded developers.

Our Admissions team will walk you through each simple step
Once you've submitted your application, you'll be invited to a personal interview. This is our opportunity to get to know you, and your opportunity to ask your most burning questions. We'll make sure that you're embarking on the right bootcamp journey and give you all of the information you need.
You'll be assigned a very simple technical test, designed to measure your aptitude. Ironhack's bootcamps are beginner-friendly, and so is the test, so don't stress. No hard skills required here. (That's what your bootcamp is for!)
Now it's time to sign the Student Agreement, which makes you an offical Ironhacker! At this point you'll also pay the deposit. (The rest of your tuition fee payment will depend on your chosen financing option.)
As an official Ironhack bootcamp student, you'll have access to online prework that helps us level the playing field and ensure that everyone is bootcamp-ready!
