What sets Lisbon apart?

A top talent magnet

Many tech giants have chosen Lisbon to be the new headquarters of their tech development teams in Europe. Google, Volkswagen, Uber and Huawei, among others, have recently announced that they’re setting up new software, design and data analytics teams here!

Unified tech capital

When Web Summit, the major global tech conference, relocated to Lisbon in 2016, this city solidified itself as an essential player in the European and global tech scenes. And it just keeps growing, with organizations like Factory opening an enormous start-up campus in Lisbon in 2019.

The world capital for millennials

Lisbon is the hottest travel destination for millennials in 2019 according to Business Insider, offering a perfect blend of tradition and development. In addition, the city’s lower cost of living as compared to its European neighbors has brought in young people in droves.

Cultural and leisure

Lisbon is one of the top five European cities with the most sunshine per year. This offers you a wide variety of opportunities: whether you’re surfing off the coast of Estoril, checking out the ambitious art scene and cultural locations or losing yourself in the superb nightlife and food. Lisbon is the place to be.
