Our Ironhack Miami Team

Jessica Gonzalez

Jess is a Miami native with the accent to match. She left home to study communication arts and French and went on to work for organizations like UNAIDS and the IRC. Once back in Miami, she got a job at a start-up thinking it was temporary, but fell in love with tech. She then joined Ironhack as a student, and afterward, she became a TA and is now the program manager. She is driven to help others and is the glue between staff, faculty and students!

Daniel Brito

Daniel aka Brito has a background in IT infrastructure, IT recruitment, and software engineering. He wears many hats, but he primarily focuses on business development and acts as the career coach for all of our students. He will be with you from the moment you walk on campus to when you land your first tech-related role outside of Ironhack and beyond. As a Miamian, born and raised, he is very dedicated to growing the South Florida tech ecosystem and helping driven individuals transform their careers.

Niko Tzikas

Niko was born and raised in Boston and attended Syracuse University. He worked on several major motion pictures before finding his true passion for tech. After coding for several start-ups and companies, he gravitated toward tech education and is particularly interested in the intersection between programming, filmmaking and education.

Juno Jo

Juno has a long experience building digital products and campaigns. He has worked with Honda, Santander, Jack Daniels, Thomson Reuters, Philips and many others global brands. He started his career in advertising industry working for DDB Brasil and tech companies like Buscapé, the largest comparison shopping in Brazil.

David Fast

David wears many hats and has over 12 years of experience leading design for global brands and start-ups in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. He started his career working as a visual designer, art director and interactive creative director in advertising. David went on to expand into user experience through his work in education as well as speaking and consulting. Most recently, David has taught design thinking classes at the Miami Ad School, ran voice prototyping workshops for PwC, traveled nationally as a speaking evangelist for Adobe XD, and currently serves as the Lead UX/UI instructor at Ironhack Miami.

David James Knight

David is a data consultant with a multidisciplinary background that includes design, web development, and law. He specializes in data engineering, data visualization, and machine learning solutions for organizations in the legal and criminal justice sectors, such as the City of Miami Police Department and the American Bar Association.

Himanshu Aggarwal

Himanshu has a master’s in industrial engineering with a focus on data analysis. He has over four years of experience in tech and has worked on projects across a diverse spectrum of industries including education, healthcare, finance, information and technology, tourism, and manufacturing. This has led Himanshu to develop strong skills in statistics, big data analytics, machine learning, time series analysis, operations research, database management, optimization and data visualization.

Lisa Nuessle

Lisa was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. After earning a degree in information technology from Syracuse University, Lisa went on to work in IT consulting and professional service sales. At Ironhack, Lisa has taken her career in a whole new direction by focusing on marketing. You’ll find Lisa bopping around the campus, planning events and collaborating with admissions to welcome future Ironhackers.
