The Digital Training Voucher ( Cheque de Formação + Digital) is a measure to support and incentivize the development of skills and qualifications in the digital domain. It is part of a program supporting the development of digital skills that reimburses workers up to €750 for training actions in these areas. The voucher can be directly requested by workers or by companies.
This initiative encompasses specific direct financing that has been part of a community support program, executed nationally by the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP).
How does it work?
The maximum support to be awarded per recipient/applicant and year (12 months from the date of submission of the first approved application) is €750.
Applications for professional training actions in the digital domain with start dates from 28-09-2022 can be submitted, with the maximum completion date for training being 30-09-2025.
Each application can only cover one professional training action, even though it may consist of a set of Units/Modules of Training, according to the assumptions established in the Specific Regulation regarding the focus on the digital domain. Training can be conducted in face-to-face, blended, or fully remote mode.
Who is it for?
Any worker can request this support, regardless of the employment relationship. Thus, the beneficiaries are:
Employees;
Self-employed workers with income;
Sole Proprietors of Limited Liability Companies;
Partners of Single-Member Companies with Limited Liability;
Public servants.
However, priority will be given to candidates who:
Are at risk of unemployment;
Have low knowledge in the digital area;
Are part of the team responsible for the digital transformation process of the company or organization for which they work;
Belonging to the underrepresented gender in their profession.
What documents are required to apply?
Proof of regularized contributory situation with Social Security and the Tax Authority or declaration of authorization for consultation given to IEFP, I.P.
Declaration under the applicant's honor commitment.
Justification memorandum of the Training Action.
Declaration from the training entity (actions not yet started/started and not completed) or proof of attendance at the training (actions started and completed).
Proof of IBAN.
